What a difference having a full side with subs makes! Having 5 subs on a hot day was a key factor - thanks for putting up with all our changes to get everyone pitch time.

Our nil all draw was a clear moral victory us. You all kept your cool under a lot of provocation and dissent from St Helier - a performance I was particularly proud of.

St Helier are a top 3 side so to hold them goal-less was a superb effort - and the reason why they started to fall apart. We played the game all day today whereas St Helier started to disintegrate. We had a few chances to capitalise on their lack of cohesion but we just did not find the net - but that does not detract from our performance. Our defensive line was very solid and ably led by Bosh and Andy in central roles. Man-of-the match today was Francesco a confident performance in goal will some telling saves - with our first clean sheet of the season.

A reminder that Presentation Day is the 20th May and I will shortly be asking you for your nomination for Players Player of the Year.
