Team, A great effort today - probably our best for 18 months - not just for the 10-1 scoreline, but in the way we won. It was a true team effort with a very solid defensive line enabling the mid-field and forwards to share the goals amongst 5 players - Raph 3, Freddie 2, James G 2, Martin 2 and Mo 1 - with the prize for best goal celebration going to Mo! The team played very cohesively today - good talking, quiet confidence and some excellent visionary moves starting from the back. Some great saves in goal from Francesco > very nearly rewarded with a clean slate. Before the game, we said we were looking for more quality through ball and this was delivered today - exemplified by Raph who earned the man-of-the-match today for a game that was evidenced by slick passing, some good physical tackles - nicely rounded off by 3 goals.
